Just healthy is no longer wealthy and wise. But don’t blindly start to spend thousands at that fancy gym to get that with-it waif look. Here are some simple exercises to tone your body naturally.
The goal of this regimen is not only to sculpt your body but also to prevent weight gain.
EAT SENSIBLY
Don’t allow wrong eating habits to sabotage your goals. Watch what you eat! Don’t starve yourself; simply focus on eating sensibly and getting adequate nutrition.
WARM-UP
Start with a 2-minute warm-up by walking briskly or jogging slowly.
STRETCH
After each workout, do static stretches of all major muscles you’ve worked out, holding each for 10-30 seconds.
CALORIE BURNING OPTIONS
An hour of any one of these fitness regimens will help you burn about 300-400 calories an hour: Walking, swimming, cycling, running, sports like basketball, tennis, squash and badminton.
SCULPT ROUTINE BUTT BRIDGE
Lie on your back with your feet on a step or on the floor. Raise your hips off the floor until your body
forms a straight line from your knees to your chest. Squeeze your hips inwards as you lift and lower your torso. Repeat 10 times.
BICEP CURLS
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Hold a dumb bell in each hand. With elbows close to your waist, raise your arms and tense the biceps. Then, slowly extend the arm. Repeat 10 times.
CRUNCHES
Lie on your back with your knees raised at a 90° angle. Support your neck by placing your palms behind your head. Keeping your chin off the chest, slowly contract your abs. Then, lift your upper body and lower it gently. Repeat 10 times.
BACK EXTENSIONS
Lie on your stomach and place your hands on your lower back. Lift your upper body off the floor and then lower it. Repeat 10 times.
