Homeopathy Tips

Homenopathy Tips to Lose weight:
Overweight can be caused by a variety of factors including a sedentary lifestyle, overeating, hormonal imbalance, hereditary, stress and others. Certain diseases can lead to overweight like thyroid disorder and PCOD. Do the investigations to rule these out. A modified or controlled diet minus meat and dairy, in conjunction with exercise is the first step in weight management. In order to have long-term effects, this should be combined with medical therapy. Homeopathy can help lose weight by improving digestion, metabolism and elimination and also taking care of the underlying medical cause if any. Take Phytolacca Berry Q 10 drops twice daily.

Homeopathy for diabetes mellitus.
Diabetes is a hereditary, lifestyle-induced, life-long disease. Any medical treatment including homeopathy can only control but not cure it. That said, homeopathy can certainly help. Clinical trials have shown that having conventional medicine like oral hypoglycemics alone achieves only 47 per cent control of the disease. However, augmenting conventional treatment with homeopathy increases diabetes control to 97 per cent. Homeopathy also helps in better absorption of insulin. A detailed case study would be required to prescribe the appropriate medication for you. Without stopping your conventional treatment, start homeopathic remedy Insulin 6c, 5 pills twice daily. Consult a doctor, if symptoms persist.

Tips for Healthy Home

  1. The air conditioner at home is a good way to dehumidify the air. Also, many ACs come with special filters that keep the dust and other allergy-causing materials out of the house. Find out and make use of them.
  2. You must dust your house as often as possible, because dust often triggers off some allergies. If you are a busy couple and find it difficult to clean your home everyday, remember to do so every couple of days – that is mandatory.
  3. The bed linens and the pillow covers are a major hub of dust mites and other allergy triggers. Make sure you wash your child’s bed sheets in hot water. It’s also good to keep them in the hot sun every few days.
  4. Keep your bathroom walls dry, for, humid walls promote the growth of mould and other allergy triggers. Use a small amount of detergent if required.
  5. Your concern for global warming may be prompting you to go green but it might come as a surprise for you that some plants can actually cause allergy to your kids. Identify if that’s the case and get rid of those plants as soon as possible. The plants may be shifted to the building ground or maybe the nearby park.
  6. Cigarette smoke is one of the major reasons for childhood allergy. Be strict and do not allow anyone to smoke at home, not even guests. Also, stay away from artificial airfresheners.
  7. You must keep reminding your child to keep his hands clean, specially before meals and after he walks in after play.
  8. Children are often allergic to pets as their sheds might carry various allergy triggers such as dust and mould. Either get rid of the pet completely or adopt a breed that sheds to a lesser extent.

Magic Of Salvia Divinorum

Have you heard about Salvia Divinorum herb. It is primarily found in Mexico. Salvia is actually a strong psychedelic. Salvia has an onset time of about 20 seconds to2 minutes, and the primary effects of the drug last anywhere from 5- 15 minutes during which the user goes through a ‘psychedelic’ experience. Salvia Divinorum is safe but if you are taking it for incense or otherwise than be careful how much Salvia you inhale and go slowly, especially if you are a first timer.

You can buy Salvia Divinorum online from Salvianoid.com. They offer shipping worldwide where Salvia Divinorum status is legal.

As life gets busier and lifestyles become more erratic, peptic ulcers are increasingly rearing their ugly heads. While duodenal ulcers peak between the age of 20-50 years, gastric ulcers occur most commonly in the age group of 50-60. While men are doubly prone to the former, men and women are equally likely to suffer from the latter. An O type blood group and an urban lifestyle further predisposes you towards peptic ulcers.

Ulcers often go undetected and in fact only 20 per cent patients seek medical treatment for this affliction. How can you tell if you have one? Symptoms include a burning pain, felt anywhere from your navel to your breastbone, which may last from a few minutes to many hours and comes and goes for a few days or weeks. It gets worse on an empty stomach, tends to flare up at night and can be temporarily relieved by eating certain foods that buffer stomach acid or an acid-reducing medication.
You can help yourself by cutting out smoking, alcohol, dairy, coffee and aerated drinks. Milk, commonly believed to help this condition, actually harms it. Containing lactic acid, it further erodes your stomach lining and aggravates ulcers. Any relief that milk provides is deceptive and it should be carefully avoided. Eat a fibre and vitamin A rich diet including fruit with their skins on.

Here are some very helpful tips to achieve a healthy body:

BREAKFAST IS A ‘MUST’
Start your morning with some breakfast, be it a piece of fruit or a whole wheat bread. Put oatmeal into a thermos of hot water, and you could even let it sit overnight. In the morning, you shall have hot cooked oatmeal ready to eat. Similarly, a hard boiled egg can be eaten. This will prevent your body from going into starvation mode. Eating breakfast everyday will also help increase your metabolic rate.

FIVE MEALS A DAY
Have at least five meals a day in which three can be the main meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner, while other two meals can consist of foods which are handy and nutritious at the same time. Eating frequently prevents hunger pangs, provides consistent energy, and maintains metabolism efficiency. Grab healthy foods such as fruits that are high in fibre like apple, watermelon, muskmelon, orange, sweet lime, papaya and peaches.

PLAN YOUR DINES
Some people’s work demands frequenting restaurants for dinner. Always watch out for hidden fats. Creamy soups, white breads, flaky pastries and mayonnaisebased salad dressings add unnecessary fats to the food. Try consuming broths instead of creamy soups. Instead of mayonnaise dressing, use variety of condiments and flavouring agents such as lemon, vinegar, herbs, onion and garlic to improve the palatability of your salad. Remember, a gram of fat contains more than twice as many calories as a gram of protein or carbohydrate. Ask for grilled, baked, boiled or broiled food rather than fried foods.

HYDRATE WHEN YOU’RE TRAVELLING
Your work might involve a lot of travelling in which air travel is one of the most dehydrating experiences. Because of this, people often complain of sore throats and other respiratory illnesses. To avoid these, one should not drink caffeine, cola or alcohol before or after the flights as these are diuretics and can increase the water loss. Avoid salted snacks like salted peanuts or fried foods in order to minimise dehydration. Try consuming lots of fluids in the form of water, fruit juice, coconut water, lime water, etc. In any case, one should drink at least 12 to 15 gasses of water everyday. The stress associated with travel may slightly increase the protein requirement, so one should make an effort to consume a little more protein each day.

GOOD QUALITY OF FOOD
Always remember that the quality of food you eat determines your efficiency at work. Avoid refined foods like white rice and those used to make white bread and sugary breakfast cereals as most of their vitamins and minerals are stripped away. They turn into blood sugar (glucose) so fast just like sugar; they can cause a spike in our insulin level. Alternate refined flour with wholegrain flour. Substitute white sugar with honey and jaggery. Remember, all this will help us to remain healthy.

Tips for making juice

Most of us start our day with a glass of juice. So, remember these points before making juice. These are simmple but very important points.

  • It is important to wash the fruits and veggies well before putting them in the juicer.
  • Remove damaged portions, if any. Or else the harmful pesticides or bacteria will directly go in to your system.
  • You can even use the stems and leaves for juice. But, do remove the stems and leaves of carrots, as they are toxic.
  • You may use seeds of lemon, lime, oranges, etc. Do not use apple seeds, as they are toxic.
  • Do not use the skins of orange and grapefruits, as they are toxic. Do not throw away the white pithy part, as that is a good source of vitamin C and flavonoids.
  • You can garnish the juices with black pepper, salt, lemon juice, ginger, parsley, coriander and cinnamon, etc.

Can I eat after 8 pm

People often think that eating after 8 pm leads to weight gain. But it all depends on the kind of food you are eating. The deciding factor is how many total calories you consume each day and not the time at which you eat. If you are a mucher, then binge on low calorie snacks whenever the muchies strike. It’s important to keep it light at night as our body’s metabolism rate slows down towards evening. So, watch out and eat sensibly. Happy munching.

Safe options:

• Munch on roasted snacks or a fruit.

• Have milk instead of coffee before turning in for the day.

Strengthen Yourself

Cosmetically, resistance training, shapes the body like nothing else can! You can develop muscles that increase the body’s metabolic rate, strengthens bones and makes you feel much better.

It cannot be denied that parents who have children who suffer from ADD are often frustrated as a result of their offspring’s condition. Besides other more obvious symptoms, an ADD/ADHD child is more likely shunned by kids his age due to the absence of vital social skills. Moreover, he often displays aggressive actions which causes kids to fear or even hate him.

As parents, you can remedy this situation by teaching him social skills. Unlike other corrective measures, social training can be done anytime and continuously in order to help the ADD/ADHD child cope in his own way. Social training can also restore his self-esteem and gradually make him more approachable to his peers.

What you can do is educate your ADD/ADHD child on the various ways one can begin a conversation. He can be taught to slowly approach a group of kids without first terrorizing them. Instead, he can be educated to shake another child’s hands as a “hello-how-do-you-do” gesture. This physical contact is extremely important in establishing a closer link between the ADD/ADHD child and his new friend.

Finally he should also be encouraged to maintain eye contact at all times whenever he is talking to other people. This will help increase his self esteem levels slowly but surely.
